Today I had my first ever Pedicure! I look after my feet fairly well, painted toenails and a quick file in the shower most mornings. But today I decided to give my winter feet some love and booked a pedicure.

It was fantastic. So enjoyable and I learnt that you should file your feet when they are dry as it tears the skin when they're wet. And a very clever tip to keep toes separated when painting them is to use a twisted tissue. Thanks Claire for your top tips, my feet are very Happy :o)

Tonight Paul told me, with a demure cheeky smile, "You must remember Clary, woman are like flowers. Sometimes they blossom and sometimes they're thorny." I feel he gets me :o).

Fluffy Sole

I put wool fluffy insoles in my court shoes (and boots) in the cold weather, it's so comfy and keeps my feet toasty warm too. This is how to keep your feet glam, comfy and snuggly in the winter ;o).

My good friend Hannah Warrick is the definition of a sexy minx. She has a wonderful luxe womanly style. I decided to recreate a Hannah look on myself to see what it felt like to be a minx for the day. I can tell you it felt great! 

I've been buzzing after a fabulous meeting with Diana Donaldson. I recognized her immediately because she is one heck of a stylish woman. I was totally loving to what she was wearing. We met to discuss a workshop I'm going to run for her styling students at LCF. I absolutely can't wait to work with them. Cx

Colour Consultations

Introducing my new Colour Consultations. They are a fantastic eye opener and opportunity to experiment with over 100 different colours. In the session we’ll see what colours work best for you, you’ll see the reasons why some work and some don't. We’ll explore how to wear colours in the most flattering way. At the end of the session I’ll create for you a personalized sample set made up of the colours that suit you best. Consultations are 2hrs and cost only £60.

I'm starting to channel my S/S wardrobe. Although apparently snow is forecast, I can't help feeling an excitement that summer will be on its way soon. 
Here are my FCUK trousers I picked up in the Sale, teamed with a navy Jigsaw rushed top and Revlon Graceful nail varnish. I'll be wearing this outfit as soon as I see the first glimpse of spring.....

Clothes are like relationships, if you get it right they'll work with you on good days and bad days.

A tip for visualization is creating movement in your image. This works well too when planning an outfit, visualize yourself wearing the outfit doing what you'll be doing. To double check that it works take a picture of yourself in it, the camera never lies about outfits.

Layering Perfume

To make perfume last all day you need to layer it up. Using the same scent apply your perfume then your body lotion, this locks in the smell and makes you feel a million dollars.
